The Window World Military Initiative
Window World of Toledo is proudly part of the Window World Military Initiative, which broadly covers our commitment to support and honor military members and veterans in our local community. It allows us to give back to those who have given so much.
Military-Friendly Employer
Window World is designated as a gold-ranked Military Friendly Employer, which recognizes our efforts at hiring and supporting military members, veterans and their families. This means we hire, offer career advancement opportunities and invest charitably in military families.
Veterans Airlift Command
We’ve partnered with Veterans Airlift Command for many years. This nonprofit organization arranges free airlift transportation for wounded military members, veterans and their families for medical or other compassionate purposes.
America’s VetDogs & Liberty
America’s VetDogs trains and provides service dogs to veterans at no cost, allowing them to continue living independently. Our owner-operator family for Window World of Toledo has puppy-raised a service dog for America’s VetDogs, Liberty. Learn more about Liberty here.
All Veterans Group
The All Veterans Group consists of former and active military members who provide parachute demonstrations as well as special events and sponsorships to bring awareness to veterans’ issues and honor the sacrifices made by veterans and hometown heroes. We’ve been a long-time partner and supporter of their mission.
Folds of Honor
Bringing life-changing scholarship opportunities to the families of America’s fallen or disabled heroes, Folds of Honor’s mission is one that closely shares our commitment to supporting military families. Through our partnership with Folds of Honor, Window World has pledged to donate $150,000 over the next four years and awarded scholarships to children in Gold Star families.
